The company, owner of the brand, decided to invest to modernize the line, by taking the opportunity to increase the speed and the global line efficiency, in order to satisfy the growth of the market. The solution proposed had to take into consideration the very low available footprint, the accessibility to the final place and the fact that the new automatic depalletizer shoud be implemented in a small existing area.
Clevertech Solution provided an authomatic depalletizer, the NEMO AD EG 10 PT 1 a low level infeed depalletizer able to depalletize glass bottles. The depalletizing head is equipped with inflatables grippers that allow to manipulate the layers of empty glass bottles and the dropping on the conveyor. Due to the small space available in the plant, this solutions revealed to be the most performing one.
The Depalletiser had to handle bottles from 33cl formatto 1L format: the challenge to win was the big difference in terms of size between the smallest and the largest format.
Clevertech designed the depalletiser with a maximum adjustment points to facilitate the changeover for the operator and reto reduce the time of the change.
